- NA The project consists of deepening of the existing 35 feet (MLW) Federal Navigation Channel System to a depth of 43 feet (MLW) in area A and to a depth of 42 feet (MLW) in area B. The project area is located Arthur Kill Channel at New York, New Jersey Harb or. The Project consists of the dredging and disposal of non-rock and entire drilling, blasting, dredging and disposal of rock. The scope of work also includes the sampling testing of subsurface materials at locations. The non-rock materials unsuitabl e for the HARS placement will be disposed at the Government designated Upland Disposal Facility and Confined Disposal Facility of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey located at the entrance of Elizabeth Channel. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED .The estimated cost range is $ 50 million to 100 million dollars. The NAICS Code is 234990 with a small business size standard of $17.0 million dollars. Completion date is 330 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The media selected for the issuance of solicitation and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government; accordingly, the media utilized for this project are the Internet and CD-ROM. Papers of this solicitation and amendments if any will no t be available or issued.
