- NA The Government intends to issue a solicitation/award for Lodging Services at Yuma Proving Ground Arizona area for 16 rooms at various time frames for approximately a combined total of 524 nights begining with 06 Jan 2003 and ending with 14 Mar 2003. Not a ll 16 rooms will be occupied at any one time. Scheduled time frames are: 1 Room: 06 Jan 03 - 01 Feb 03; 2 Rooms: 20 Jan 03 - 03 Mar 03; 1 Room: 21 Jan 03 - 23 Jan 03; 2 Rooms: 21 Jan 03 - 03 mar 03; 3 Rooms: 21 Jan 03 - 14 Mar 03; 2 Rooms: 31 Jan 03 - 26 Feb 03: 3 Rooms: 06 Feb 03 - 13 Feb 03; 1 Room: 12 Feb 03 - 14 Feb 03; 1 Room: 03 Mar 03 - 07 Mar 03. Item 0001: Lodging Services at Yuma Proving. Quantity: 524 Days. Duration: 06 Jan 2003 thru 14 Mar 2003. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation wil l not be issued. Provisions at FAR 52.212-2, Instructions to offers-Commercial and FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items apply. Award will be based on the best value to the Government, which includes room rate, room tax rate, exte nded stay facilities such as in-room refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, telephone w/dataport, iron/ironing board, on-site restaurant, and reasonable commuting distance to and from Yuma Proving Grounds. The Government reserves the right to shift lodging dates and/or cancel completely NLT 5 days prior to 06 January 2003. Payment shall be based on occupancy only. Offerors need to include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with th eir offer (registered in the Central Contractor Registration, DUNS Number, Cage Code, and Tax ID Number). The statement at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement Statues of Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisit ion. Offers are due at 1630 hrs, CST 18 Oct 2002.
