- Description
- The Acquisition Management Department, National Naval Medical Center has a requirement for the Serology Branch, Laboratory Medicine Department, NNMC intends to award a sole-sourced standing order with three (3) option years to Wampole Laboratories, Division of Carter Wallace. The required automated system is specifically designed for the detection of infectious and autoimmune diseased by Enzyme Immuno Assay (EIA) technology from patient blood specimens. The laboratory will be provided with the use of a Labotech analyzer (Trademark BioChem Immunosystems (U.S.) Inc., a subsidiary of BioChem Pharma Inc.) to perform these tests. This system includes the analyzer, analyzer accessories, maintenance kit, computer, printer, software upgrades and training. A Copy of the solicitation may be viewed and downloaded at www.neco.navy.mil. Award will be made in the form a SF 1449 Commercial Purchase Order for the period 01 October 2002 through 30 September 2003. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be contingent upon availability of FY 03 Funding. See Note 22.
