Description
VESSEL(S) REQUIRED: U.S. OR FOREIGN FLAG SELF-SUSTAINING RO/RO MULTIPURPOSE VESSEL WITH SUFFICIENT LASHING GEAR AND ADEQUATE LASHING POINTS TO MOVE APPROXIMATELY 32,000 SQ FT (BROKEN STOW FACTOR OF 25% EXCLUDED) OF MILITARY CARGO (189 PCS +/- 10% CHOP). MINIMUM REQUIRED SPEED 17 KNOTS LADEN IN MODERATE WEATHER. SELECTED VESSEL MUST BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE SUPERCARGO(ES). FULL OR PART CARGO (UNDER DECK STOWAGE) MAY BE OFFERED. IF PART CARGO IS OFFERED, OWNERS TO PROVIDE DETAILED STOW PLANS WITH CARGO STOWAGE LOCATIONS, THE ORDER OF THE VESSELS PORTS OF CALL AND ETA LOAD AND DISCHARGE PORTS AND FORWARD SAME TO MSC 72 HOURS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AT LOAD PORTS. OWNER TO CONFIRM COMPLIANCE WITH IMDG/49 CFR HAZMAT REGULATIONS AND POTENTIAL SHORTFALLS ARE TO BE IDENTIFIED. OWNER TO WARRANT THAT ANY AND ALL REGULATORY COMPLIANCES ARE MAINTAINED. SELECTED VESSEL TO PROVIDE DETAILED DIAGRAMS OF VESSEL AND CREW LIST.
