Description
NA 6115 Design and manufacture a containerized electrical power generating station (CPG) in accordance with the Statement of Work To Design and Build a Mobile Power Generating Station in Support of a Transportable Watercraft Maintenance Facility and the Syst em Specification for the CMF Power Generating Station. The CPG shall be housed in a 20 foot long ISO style steel sided shipping container. The container shall include air intake systems that are filtered to exclude atmospheric borne solid contaminants. The container shall include an exhaust outlet large enough to accommodate all the exhaust requirements of the enclosed system. The CPG shall utilize two diesel engine powered generators, rated for 100 kW each. The generator support requirements are a sta rting system, a fuel supply system and an electrical distribution system. The CPG shall include a built in air compressing and delivery system. Quantity is 3 each CPGs, no option. Delivery shall be 180 days from date of contract award for the first unit , the remaining 2 units shall be delivered 120 days after government acceptance and approval of the first unit. Delivery shall be FOB destination to Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL 61299-5000. Approximate solicitation issue date is May 30, 2002 with closing date 30 days from issue. The government will award the resulting contract on the basis of the comparative advantages and disadvantages of the competing proposals or “Best Value” to the Government. Major factors to be considered are Technical, Pa st Performance and Price. Copies of any applicable military specifications may be obtained from the ASSIST website at http://assist.daps.mil. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
