- Description
- CONTACT DAVID JONES, CONTRACTING OFFICER'S REPRESENTATIVE (COR), AT 530-621-5248 WITH TECHNICAL QUESTIONS. The intent of this solicitation is for the reconstructing of roads within this contract to a lower maintenance level by: installing gates and fences, construct rolling dips, construct diversion dips, constructing drivable water bars, outsloping roads, installing rock barriers and removing culverts. Contract time allows time for gates to be manufactured this year, with on the ground activities to begin in April 2003. The estimated range for this solicitation is $25,000 to $100,000. There will be no pre-bid meeting or tour. However, directions to project site area as follows: Project is located within the Eldorado national Forest on the Georgetown Ranger District. South of Georgetown Divide. All roads can be reached off Forest Road 12N70 (Rock Creek Road) and off of Forest Road 12N60. To reach this intersection, from Placerville travel 1.0 miles north on Hwy. 49. Turn right, heading north on Hwy. 193 for 3.1 miles. Turn right on "Rock Creek Road". Travel north & east 11.2 miles to junction of Forest Road 12N70 to the left & Forest Road 12N60 ahead. Solicitation package will be posted on FEDBIZOPS approximately July 16, 2002. Response date is August 15, 2002 by close of business (4:30 pm). NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-JUL-2002).
