- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO: ***1. Insert the following statement into the CLIN 0001 text box on page 3 of the solicitation: New Material, Surplus Not Acceptable *** 2. Insert the following clause into the solicitation: L-413E 5352.211-9003 NEW MANUFACTURED MATERIAL- SURPLUS NOT ACCEPTABLE (AFMC) (JUL 1997) IAW AFMCFARS 5311.302-91(b)) Only new manufactured material, as defined in AFMCFARS 5311.001, will be acceptable in satisfaction of the requirement as set forth herein. It has been determined that surplus material is not acceptable and surplus offers will not be considered for award. *** 3. Extend the solicitation close date to 03 SEP 02. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (29-AUG-2002). IT ACTUALLY FIRST APPEARED ON THE FEDBIZOPPS SYSTEM ON 04-OCT-2002.
