- The purpose of this sources sought announcement is to notify industry that the U.S. Navy will be hosting an invitation-only Industry Briefing on November 18 and 19, 2002 to inform industry about the US Navy acquisition of diesel submarines for Taiwan. Attendees will be limited to invitees only. The invitees are limited to those domestic and foreign firms having a recently demonstrated ability, including actual experience, in a major warship design and construction program or associated U.S. combat system(s).
