- NA SOURCES SOUGHT to provide all personnel, supervision, and services necessary to provide Emergency Medical Technicians - Paramedics (EMT-P) and Physician Assistants (PA) to support Advanced Special Operations Techniques (ASOT) in and around Rome, Georgia; S pecial Forces Assessment and Selection (SFAS); Special Forces Warrant Officers Basic Course (SFWOBC); Phase II; Phase III - Max gain in and around Camp Gruber, Oklahoma; Phase IV - Robin Sage. ASOT conducts six (6) culmination exercises per year. The cou rses overlap and last for 13.6 weeks. Support is required seven (7) days per week, 24 hours per day. Shift work is accepted; however, there will be a one (1) hour overlay between shifts. Contractor shall be able to operate in a field environment for per iods varying from a few hours to a few days (2-3), both day and night, and throughout the year, during all seasons and weather conditions. CONTRACTOR MUST POSSESS A FACILITY CLEARANCE AT THE CLASSIFICATION LEVEL OF SECRET, for ASOT and SFWOBC. EMT-P'S, A ND PHASE IV PA'S MUST HAVE A SECRET CLEARANCE. Medical support under this contract shall be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently; possess valid state driver's license; and shall have a current, certified physical. This physical must meet all the requirements of Special Forces Qualification Course physical as defined under Army Regulation (AR) 40-501, Chapters 2 and 5. EMT-P must be trained to the Special Operations Medic (SOCOM) level. They must be currently licensed in North Carol ina and the state in which the culmination exercise is conducted as an Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic. Physicians Assistants shall have a valid license to practice in the State of North Carolina. The PA must be able to provide emergency treatme nt to soldiers in an aster environment, conduct sick calls, and provide basic medication to soldiers in the field. Phase IV PA's shall be a former Special Forces qualified 18D who has operational experience of no less than three (3) years in a Special For ces Operational Group and possess license to practice in the State of North Carolina. The Phase IV PA must be able to provide emergency treatment to soldiers in an aster environment, conduct sick calls, provide basic medication to soldiers in the field an d evaluate the performance of student medics (18D) during the conduct of the exercise. Extended periods of travel are required. NAICS is 621493 and FSC is 8011. Contractor is to be registered with Central Contractor Registration.
