- SOURCES SOUGHT TERRORIST VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENTS and SECURITY ENGINEERING WORKSHOPS NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED SOLELY ON THE BASIS OF THE RESPONSE HERETO, OR ON FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION SUBSEQUENTLY SOUGHT. NO REIMBURSEMENT FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING THIS INFORMATION WILL BE MADE. THIS NOTICE IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ULTIMATELY ISSUE AN IFB, RFP, RFQ, OR CONTRACT. The Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center, Antiterrorism Program (NFESC-66), Port Hueneme, CA, is soliciting sources who have an interest in providing services related to performing quantitative vulnerabilities and risk assessments used to assess terrorist and other criminal threats and then develop new and innovative security countermeasures to mitigate those vulnerabilities. The process used to perform the assessments will be provided and controlled by the Government. The assessments may be performed in any location worldwide. Once the assessment is completed, the same source may be tasked to procure equipment or perform construction projects related to the countermeasures developed in the assessment phase of the effort. In addition, the same source will be used to provide Government developed antiterrorism and security engineering training curriculum (workshops) to Government engineers, planners, and security specialists. The workshops may be performed in any location worldwide. Respondents should provide the following information: Name/address of company, company point of contact with phone/fax number (email address if available) and the above Reference number.
