- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 02-09. All referenced FAR clauses may be obtained via the Internet at URL: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. All referenced NRC Acquisition clauses (NRCAR) may be obtained at http://www.nrc.gov/ADM/CONTRACT.html. FAR clauses will be incorporated by "FAR" followed by the section number. NRCAR clauses will be indicated by "NRCAR" followed by the section number. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. RS-CIO-03-321 herein is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP is a 100% small business set-aside. The size standard for this solicitation shall not exceed $6 million for the concern as set forth under NAICS 561990. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to issue a Commercial Item, Fixed Priced Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Delivery Order Contract, with a period of performance of five (5) years. The minimum ordering requirement under this effort is $35,000. The maximum ordering requirement under this effort is $85,000. The title of this project is "NRC Issuances". The services required by the NRC under this effort is for a contractor to provide timely and complete preparation, to include high-quality edited and proofread page proofs, a camera-quality copy, and an electronic version of NRC Issuances and Indexes for NUREG-0750 entitled "Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issuances". Specifically, the proposed effort will require accepting keystrokes, proofreading and copy editing, preparing page proofs, correcting and delivering final, camera-quality copy and an electronic version. In addition, the Indexes to be developed for the Issuance require research and writing by an editor/indexer with experience in legal indexing and editing. The Indexes will also require proofreading, preparing page proofs, correcting and delivering final camera-quality copy and an electronic version. The Offeror shall download the following attachments to this combined synopsis/solicitation: Statement of Work which includes Attachment 1 and 14. Attachment 2 will only be provided to the awardee. Attachment 3 through 13 may be obtained at the NRC's Public Document Room.
