Description

This is a sources sought synopsis for a potentital 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. If adequate responses are not received from HUBZone small business concerns, the acquisition may be solicited on an unrestricted basis. Responses must be in writing; facsimile or e-mail responses are acceptable. Please e-mail to charles.phillips@la.usda.gov. Facsimile number is 318-473-7831. All responses must be received within 10 calendar days to the above address or fax number. As a minimum the following information is required: (1) copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone small business concern; (2) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer as a prime contractor on this acquisition;(3) evidence of experience in this type of work including contract numbers, project titles,dollar values and contact points with their phone numbers;(4) evidence of capabilities to be bonded for bid, payment and performance bonds. The work under this solicitation will be for repairing approximately 490 linear feet of channel slopes on two channels in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials and incidentials necessary to perform the work. Major items of work include seeding and mulching, excavation, earthfill, rock riprap and geotextile. The estimated cost for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS code is 234990. The small business size is standard is $28.5 million.
