Description
This is a sources sought notice for a paint booth and dust collection booth from Luke AFB, AZ. NAICS code is 233310 and SIC code is 1541. Eagle Street Luke AFB, AZ 85309 Paint Booth Requirements Definition Scope: Custom Downdraft booth with multi stage filtering, Carbon Stage and VOC sampling (with monitor). Pressurized with intake chamber: Clean air will be introduced through a ceiling intake located at the top of the booth and exhausted through filter chambers located on the sides or floor of the booth. Air will be pulled downward from the ceiling to the floor at or above an average velocity of 100 fpm. The intake and exhaust filter layout will be designed for even air velocity throughout the working area of the booth Dimensions: 18? wide x 14? high x 40? deep Materials: Booth will be constructed from 18 gauge galvanized steel sheets. Panels should be pre-punched and companion flanged for easy assembly. Booth will be rigidly reinforced with structural steel construction. Booth should include: 4 ea. 30? Vane axial in-line exhaust fans 4 ea. High efficiency motor 46 ea. 48? 4-tube access fluorescent fixtures on side- walls and ceiling 1 set Solid, Swing type product entry door (13?4? wide x 14? high) 1 set Solid, Swing type product exit door (13?4? wide x 14? high) 2 ea. Side doors for personnel use (36? wide x 84?high; with observation window ?18 x 24?) 1 ea. Ceiling type intake filter chamber 4? high 4 ea. Side or floor exhaust filter chambers 1 ea. ?? 3-way Solenoid Valve to prevent spraying in booth when fans are off or light tube access door is opened 1 set Intake filters 1 lot Three-stage filtration system - 1st stage: primary exhaust filter - 2nd stage: secondary exhaust panel filters - 3rd stage: final filter bag filter 1 lot Carbon filter cells (necessary for VOC emissions in PPM) 1 ea. Flame ionization gas detention unit - Monitor and recorder of VOC emissions in PPM - Start-up supply of calibration gas Exhaust duct: 4 lots 30?dia. Exhaust ductwork for a 45? high-pitched roof to include 4 ea. 8? sections spiral duct with connecting rings on both ends 1 ea. 8? section spiral duct with inspection door and connecting rings at both ends 1 ea. Pitched roof flange 1 ea. Automatic roof ventilator stack head with connecting rings Controls: 1 ea. Pre-wired electrical control panel featuring single point connection 1 ea. Auto-balance system (system consists of a variable frequency drive that controls the exhaust fan motor, differential pressure gauge and sensing probes) Pressurized: 1 ea. Paint curing system. Air replacement unit utilizing outside air for curing air 1 ea. Electric Air make-up unit 1 lot Air make-up unit ductwork to include: 1 ea. 29? straight duct Installation: Booth installation will include all necessary labor and materials to install the spray booth, air make-up unit, exhaust duct, intake duct and electrical connections from electrical control panel for operation (turn key ready). Booth Installation will consist of: - Uncrating of equipment - Supply all necessary assembly hardware for spray booth and air make-up unit - Supply necessary labor for installation - Mechanical erection of booth, air make-up unit, and controls panel - Provide all electrical wiring for spray booth and air make-up components - Electrical connection from control panel to customer supplied electrical supply source - Provide lifting devices capable of lifting men to any point necessary during installation - Clean up of equipment and working area in which the installation was performed Dust Collection Booth Requirements Definition Scope: Cartridge Style Dust Collection System with total re-circulating and self-cleaning dust collection side draft. Dimensions: 18? wide x 14? high x 40? deep Booth Enclosure: Heavy duty 18 gauge galvanized steel. Each steel panel should be flanged and precision punched on 6? centers for easy, fast and accurate on-site assembly. Booth should include: 2 ea. Cartridge Modules: Module Includes - 22? high velocity centrifugal fan - Heavy duty totally enclosed fan cooled motor - 15 ea. High efficiency durable cartridge filters with 99.8% rating, at .5 microns. (Air to Filter ratio: 2:6:1) - Air pulse valves incorporated with a Venturi increases the cleaning efficiency of the cartridge filters and provides added filter service life. - Air manifold internally mounted - Large storage drawers for waste collection designed for easy access and maintenance 24 ea. 48? 4-tube access fluorescent fixtures on walls and ceiling 1 set Swing-type filtered product entry/exit doors (13?4? wide x 14? high) 2 ea. Side doors for personnel use (36? wide x 84?high; with observation window ?18 x 24?) 1 ea. Fire suppression system 1 ea. Breathing air unit; forced air system (4 persons max) 1 ea.
