Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), New Jersey intends to contract sole source with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Bethpage, NY, to design, develop, test, produce and deliver Unique Test Program Set (TPS) for APS-145 Radar for use by the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) on the E-2C Hawkeye. The Navy intends to procure the aforementioned Support Equipment (SE) as a delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement Number N68335-00-G-0325 as follows: Item 0001, Test Program Disc, P/N TPD(V1)55100EG-1, Quantity 4 EA; Item 0002, Test Program Disc, P/N TPD(V1)58520EG-1, Quantity 4 EA; Item 0003, Test Program Disc, P/N TPD(V1)58555EG-1, Quantity 4 EA; Item 0004, Test Program Disc, P/N TPD(V1)57400EG-1, Quantity 4 EA; Item 0005, P/N 123SAV55100-1, Panel ID, Quantity 1 EA; Item 0006, P/N 123SCSA800-1, Cable Set, Quantity 1 EA; In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation is the "only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirements". Northrop Grumman is the original developer of the APS-145 Radar and holds proprietary rights to drawings, specifications, and data necessary to produce the aforementioned SE. Any firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. A determination by the Government whether or not to open the requirement for competition based on the responses to this notice is entirely within the discretion of the Government.
