- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract for a base year and four 1-year option periods to a single source, Kevlin Corporation. The contract will cover the repair of rotary couplers, NSN 5985-01-319-8304, Kevlin P/N 21089/1, applicable to the Airport Surface Detection Equipment (ASDE-3) System. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Kevlin Corporation, Methuen, MA in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. A market survey was conducted on January 17 - January 31, 2002. The results of this survey support our determination to solicit and negotiate with only one firm. This announcement is for informational purposes only.
