- NA The DOD Executive Agency for Low-Level Radioactive Waste will hold the 13th Annual DOD Waste Generators Meeting at the Marriott Pavilion in St. Louis, MO 12-14 May 2003. The objective of the meeting is to give you the opportunity to meet and hear from mana gement personnel responsible for the Department of Defense (DOD) Radioactive Waste Disposal Program and give you information on a variety of radioactive waste issues. The agenda will focus on the changes affecting current and new disposal site availabili ty, disposal costs, new technologies for waste management, radioactive materials in the public sector and other national issues. Attendees will include representatives of the Army, Navy, Defense Logistics Agency, U.S. Corps of Engineers, Air Force, Depar tment of Energy, state governments, regulators, low-level waste compacts, the Low-Level Waste Forum, and the low-level waste contractors. There will be a limited amount of display/exhibit space available. We are also soliciting technical presentations from the industry. Technical presentations must be applicable to DOD generated waste streams and processing requirements, and will be select ed on a first come basis - these agenda time slots are extremely limited and require an abstract NLT 1 March, 2003. In the past there have been an average of 100 attendees, 15 exhibitors and 4 technical presentations selected.
