Description

The National Gallery of Art will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the requirement for fire protection system services, on or about 15 November, 2002 The Gallery wishes to secure the services of a fire protection contractor to perform inspection, test, and maintenance functions on the the following : Fire Detection and Notification Systems (Cerberus Pyrotronics and Analaser equipment); Clean Agent Suppression Systems (Cerberus Pyrotronics and Ansul equipment); Portable Fire Extinguishers (various manufacturers); Restaurant Fire Suppression Systems (Ansul equipment); Automatic Water-Based Fire Suppression Systems (Automatic Sprinkler and Central Sprinkler Companies); and Water Mist Systems (Marrioff equipment). The work will be performed at the Gallery?s facilities in Washington D.C. and Landover, MD. The contract will have a base period and up to four one year option periods. The Gallery reserves the right to award multiple contracts for this requirement. A site visit and pre-proposal conference will be held approximately two weeks after release of the solicitation. Requests for copies of the solicitation must state the name of the firm, the contact person, the firm?s address, phone and fax numbers, the contact person?s email address, and the RFP number NGA-03-RFP-001. Proposals will be required on or about 20 December, 2002. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
