- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to acquire circuit card assemblies (CCA) and regulator heatsinks for the ANGRT 21 radio; NSN 5998-01-501-3027, CCA, P/N 8004217G1, FAA configuration; NSN 5998-01-501-4430, CCA, P/N 8004213G1, FAA configuration; and NSN 6110-00-494-2857, regulator heatsink, P/N 8004531G1 Revision; manufactured by Professional Electronics Co. Inc. (PECO). The ANGRT 21 radios are used to facilitate air-to-ground communication between the control tower and pilots of the aircraft. The requirement is for a base year and includes option provisions to renew for four additional 1-year periods, to be exercised at the sole discretion of the FAA. The FAA does not have specifications or drawings. The contractor must have access to the original equipment manufacturer?s (OEM) specifications and drawings. Potential sources must provide documentation to the FAA showing proof of rights to use the data from the OEM. Statements that data will be obtained or that specifications or drawings will be developed are not acceptable. Only those responses providing the required documentation in response to this market survey will be considered prior to further action by the FAA.
