Description: This is a notice of intent to procure on a sole source basis with BellSouth Telecommunications local telephone exchange services for Homestead ARB FL. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and is not a request for competitive quotes. The proposed contract is for seven years. The local exchange service is provided via Centrex service. The cable plant and switch providing this service is owned by BellSouth Telecommunications. Homestead ARB FL is leasing approximately 1500 Centrex lines, 2000 DID numbers, 6 business lines, 150 4-wire and 150 2-wire point-to-point circuits
