Description

NA The US Army CECOM Acquisition Center - Washington intends to award a sole source purchase order with Broadcast Microwave Services, Inc., at 5636 Ruffin Road, Post Office Box 84630, San Diego, CA 92138-4630. The Contractor shall deliver the following equipm ent within 90 days of the date of award: 1) Quantity of thirty-eight (38) TBT-500A Video Transmitters, FFP- 4.4 to 5.0 GHz, Single Frequency (selectable), Output 2 Watts (minimum), 1 V p-p Video, NTSC with CCIR Pre-emphasis, 6.2/7.5 MHz audio subcarriers, 0 dBm, 600 ohm balanced, 12 VDC input power, BMS Part No. 801-3453-801. 2) Quantity of fourteen (14) BMA-2-0 Antennas, 2 dBi Omnidirectional, Vertical Polarization, 4.4 to 5.0 GHz, Beamwidth 360 degrees Horizontal/70 degrees Vertical, BMS Part No. 120-10 30-50. Broadcast Microwave Services, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of this equipment that has been approved for use by the Mobile Video Unit (MVU/VIPERS) at Hohenfels Training Area (HTA) and Grafenwoehr Training Area (GTA) in Germany. The statutory autho rity for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 ?(1), Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. However, all responsible sources that can provide supporting data to demonstrate they can suc cessfully provide need support may submit a quote that shall be considered by the Agency. The resultant contract will be performed under an anticipated fixed price order. Award will be made IAW Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Response should be no longe r than three (3) pages. Responses are to be received via email within 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. All request for further information must be in writing and via email, telephone requests for additional information will not be honored.
