Description

NA This notice is for information purposes only. The Government has completed its Market Research and concluded only TRW, Tactical Systems, Systems and Information Technology Group, Carson, CA. possesses the unique capabilities to provide the Government FBCB 2 SE&I requirements. The SE&I effort includes systems architecture engineering, Tactical Internet architecture design and development, integration, engineering with weapon platforms and ABCS systems, software and hardware design and development in suppor t of the FBCB2 program. The system is specifically oriented to provide individual tactical vehicles and platforms with Situational Awareness and Command and Control capabilities. The main goal of the SE&I portion of the FBCB2 Program is the development o f the version 7.0 Software. These engineering and integration efforts are to be aquired on a sole source basis as a modification to Contract DAAB07-01-D-E502 with TRW, Inc. TRW is the incumbent on the SE&I effort which ends on 30 September 2004. Justifi cation and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been approved on 24 Oct 2002 by the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology) in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1.
