Description

NA The USA Contracting Agency Southern Region, Fort Polk Directorate of Contracting will solicit and negotiate for the housing of military prisoners from Fort Polk, LA 71459. The period of performance will be for a one-year base period 1 DEC 02 - 30 NOV 03 w ith two (2) one year option periods. The annual estimated quantity of prisoner days is 600. Sources sought are federally approved detention facilities within a 50-mile radius of Fort Polk. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NA ICS) Code is 561210. The Government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. The estimated closing date and time for submission is 26 NOV 02. The solicitation notices and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (EP) site at http://www.jrtc-polk.army.mil/doc. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments . All prospective offerors must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at WWW.CCR.GOV. In accordance with FAR Clause 5.207(c) (2)(xv), all responsible sources may submit a b id, which shall be considered by the Agency. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract.
