Description

NA The Fort Hood Contracting Command, Fort Hood Texas intends to issue a master solicitation for CONUS and OCONUS Aviation Joint Administrative Management Support Services (AVJAMSS). AVJAMSS is a Multiple Award, Task Order driven Indefinite Delivery/Indefini te Quantity (IDIQ) contract. It is anticipated that at least four awards under AVJAMSS will be made. The resultant contracts will require performance in the six general task areas: Task Order Management; AVUM/AVIM and Selected Depot Maintenance; Aviatio n Maintenance Management; Aviation Maintenance Training; Aviation Supply and Warehouse Management, Missile and Aviation Systems Support Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Offeror's proposals shall demonstrate the capability to perform all task areas with i nternal company resources. The concept is to obtain a suite of at least four Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) task order driven contracts to provide all facets of AVJAMSS services as required by but not limited to FORSCOM, AMCOM and all of t he activities and tenant activities they support. AVJAMSS services will include but not be limited to support of rotary wing aircraft, fixed wing aircraft, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), aviation ground support vehicles, training, supply and warehouse m anagement, aviation and missile systems support equipment repair and maintenance. This requirement is unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for AVJAMSS is 4581, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 4 88190, and the Size Standard is $6 Million. The Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) will be available for viewing and download from the Fort Hood Industry Business Opportunity Page (IBOP) at http://abop.monmouth.army.mil as well as the SR Web Page accessibl e through http://ccmd.hood.army.mil. Both sites require contractor registration. The tentative release date of the DRFP is anticipated to be on or about 18 November 2002. No proposal submission is required in response to the DRFP. The DRFP is issued on ly to solicit industry questions and comments. Submission of industry questions and comments concerning the content of the DRFP shall be provided via the website stated above (follow instructions as if submitting a proposal in response to the solicitatio n) or via email to Roberta.Alicea@hood.army.mil or Robert.Reeves2@hood.army.mil. All travel and lodging arrangements for attendees is the responsibility of the con tractor. Interested parties are hereby cautioned against contacting any person(s) other than those shown above regarding AVJAMSS. Submitting comments and questions through the website identified above is recommended to become familiar with it prior to su bmission of a proposal in response to the Final RFP. The Final RFP will also be available at the same websites identified above.
