Description

NA This effort is for contractor operated depot level repair of AVENGER weapon system components received from U. S. Army Depots and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Customers. Action was previously synopsized as two separate requirements for U. S. and FMS. A decision has been made to concur these efforts. Remote Control Unit, Part Number 157D3696, NSN 5998-01-314-0968; AVENGER Control Unit, Circuit Card Assembly, Part Number 157D3526, NSN 5998-01-326-7170; Part Number 197C9297, NSN 5998-01-420-3424; Part Nu mber 197C8708, NSN: 5998-01-314-7752; Part Number 157D3943, NSN 5998-01-385-5509. This repair/rebuild effort will have base year and out year options through FY 07. RFP will be issued to General Dynamics Armament Systems, Inc., 128 Lakeside Avenue, Burl ington, VT 05401-4985. This contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Suggest that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with thi s procurement make contact with the above listed firm. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. See Numbered Note: 22.
