- Point of Contact: Cindy Ingrao, Clinical Consultant, Tri-Service Regional Business Office, TRICARE Regions 9 & 10, San Diego, CA. Telephone: (619) 532-8517. Potential sources sought to participate in the regional standardization of Pads and Wipes. TRICARE Regions 9, 10, and 12, a military integrated delivery network (IDN), comprised of Army, Navy and Air Force medical treatment centers in California, Hawaii, Japan, Okinawa, Republic of Korea, and Guam are in the process of standardizing Pads and Wipes. This product line includes alcohol, povidone-iodine, witch hazel, benzalkonium chloride, adhesive remover, nail polish remover, baby wipes, etc. If your company currently holds or in the process of obtaining a Distribution and Pricing Agreement (DAPA) with the Defense Supply Center-Philadelphia (DSCP) for Pads and Wipes, your company is eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: cingrao@reg9.med.navy.mil and provide your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and E-mail address and answers to the below listed questions no later than November 25, 2002. For questions, please call (619) 532-8517. 1) Are your products manufactured according to FDA, GMP, and USP requirements? 2) Are your products latex free? 3) Are your products low-lint or lint-free? 4) What types of skin pads, towelettes, swab sticks, and wipes does your company manufacture? 5) What are the active ingredients contained in the different types of skin pads, towelettes, swab sticks, and wipes? 6) Do any of your skin pads, towelettes, swab sticks, and wipes have perfumes or substances that may be irritating to the skin or cause allergic reactions? 7) Do your skin pads, towelettes, swab sticks, and wipes cleanse the area as well as provide germicidal activity as appropriate? 8) What is the germicidal activity for the different types of skin pads, towelettes, swab sticks, and wipes your company manufactures? 9) Can your skin pads, towelettes, swab sticks, and wipes products be used for adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations? 10) What sizes are available for your skin pads, towelettes, swab sticks, and wipes ? Do any of these products come in reclosable/resealable packages?
