- Description
- The United States Naval Academy (USNA) has procurement for the following service for Packaging, transportation and disposal Hazardous Waste at the Chemistry Lab. This procurement shall be base year starting 15 November 2002 through 30 Sep 2003 plus optional years beginning 1 Oct 2003 through 30 Sep 2007.The contractor shall provide transportation and packaging in accordance with 49 and 40 CFR 260 through 265. The hazardous waste shall be disposed of in accordance with all state and federal regulations. The contractor shall provide all supplies, labor and equipment to complete the scope of work. The contractor shall provide all documentation for the shipping and disposal of the hazardous waste. The contractor shall complete the hazardous waste profiles, hazardous waste manifest, and land disposal restriction forms. The Hazardous Waste Program Manager shall sign the manifest and land-Ban before the shipment will be released. A copy of the manifest signed by the TSDF shall be returned to the U S Naval Academy Environmental Division before payment will be made. The contractor shall have five (5) days to respond and thirty (30) days to complete the scope of work. This solicitation shall close on Thursday 14 Nov 02, by the close of business at 1530 local time. STATEMENT OF WORK DISPOSAL OF HAZARDOUS WASTE FOR CHEMISTRY LAB PROVIDE SERVICE FOR THE PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION, AND DISPOSAL OF HAZARDOUS WASTE LISTED ON PAGES 2 THROUGH 6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION AND PACKAGING IN ACCORDANCE WITH 49 AND 40 CFR 260 THROUGH 265. THE HAZARDOUS WASTE SHALL BE DISPOSED OF IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL STATE AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL SUPPLIES, LABOR, AND EQUIPMENT TO COMPLETE THE SCOPE OF WORK. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL DOCUMENTATION FOR THE SHIPPING AND DISPOSAL OF THE HAZARDOUS WASTE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLETE ALL HAZARDOUS WASTE PROFILES, HAZARDOUS WASTE MANIFEST, AND LAND DISPOSAL RESTRICTION FORMS.
