- Description
- This is a small business set aside and is competitive for small businesses with a first article requirement. There will be three first articles in addition to the production quantity. The contractor will do testing of the first article. A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for NSN: 5315-01-294-0894NZ, Pratt & Whitney P/N 4076419, NOUN: Headless Shoulder Pin, QTY: 15,232 each, Required Delivery: 500 each per month beginning Feb 2003, Destination: Ship to FB2039, Size and Dimensions: Approx 0.5254? diameter X 1.775? long, Predominant Material: PWA1010 Nickel alloy, Form, Fit and Function: Shoulder Pin connects the convergent nozzle segment to the nozzle supports and allow segments to pivot during augmentation. Qualification requirements are available for this Part Number and further qualification information can be obtained from OC-ALC/BC, Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive, Suite 1AG85A, Tinker, AFB 73145-3009, (405) 739-7243 or (405) 739-7244. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. Government Furnished drawings are not available. The award will be made to an approved source. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Anticipated Award date is on or before 31 JAN 2003. Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Procedures will be used in awarding this contract and a request for proposal (RFP) will be issued via email. Proposals can be received by fax, 405-734-8776 or email, melinda.infante@tinker.af.mil. The Red, Yellow, Green program will be used to evaluate past performance. Award will be made to the qualified, responsive and responsible contractor who provides the required NSN, P/N identified in the RFP at the lowest price in accordance with the procedures in Sections L & M of the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for proposals may be faxed to (405) 734-8776. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
