- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial product and service prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; quotation being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The procurement is for: PURCHASE AND SERVICES NON-PERSONAL: CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE ALL LABOR, TOOLS, PARTS, MATERIALS, TRANSPORTATION AND ALL NECESSARY ITEMS TO PROVIDE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE SERVICE ON 409 WASHERS AND DRYERS (SEE ATTACHMENT). THE CONTRACTOR MUST ALSO PROVIDE FOR PURCHASE 115 WASHER AND DRYERS (SEE ATTACHMENT). The period of performance is from 1 DEC 02 ? 30 NOV 03. This requirement, Purchase Request Number F7442721981100, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-09, dated 30 Sep 02. The proposed solicitation listed here is competitive, small business set-aside. This acquisition falls under the North American Industry Classification System. (NAICS) Code 333312 the number of employees for this code cannot exceed 500 and 811412, the yearly income for this code cannot exceed $6,000,000. Vendor must be actively registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov. This solicitation contains three line items for FOB point destination, Travis AFB, CA. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government. Overall, price is the evaluation factor. The following additional FAR provisions and clauses do apply: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, a completed copy of this provision shall be submitted with the offer. Quotes without this provision completed will not be considered. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items applies to this acquisition without the addenda. FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, to include clauses (b)(11),(12),(13),(14),(15), (c)(1),(2) Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic WG-10: $20.92 per hour, (3), (d) applicable as written, (e)(1)(2)(3). The following DFARS clauses also applicable to the subject acquisition: DFARS 252.212-7001 with the following sub paragraphs selected: (a) applicable as written; (b) DFARS 252.225-7007, Buy American Act-Trade Agreements-Balance of Payments Programs; DFARS and DFARS 252.247-7024 Notification of Transportation of Supplies by Sea; (c) applicable as written. DFARS 252.225-7017, Prohibition on Award to Companies owned by the People?s Republic of China and DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, are also included. FAR Clause 52.222-42 is filled in as follows: Wage Determination 94-2069 Rev.20: Laborer $12.20. Date of last revision 0/07/02 applies in full text.
