Description

NA DESC: 4320-01-314-9352, Part Number 12909073, The item to procure is a Pump, Hydraulic Ram, for use on the M198 Howitzer. Requirements are 409 each, hydraulic pump to meet requirements and conform to AN 6248-3 and spec MIL-P-5515. Pump body made from all oy steel, hardness RC22-30. Pivot arm shall be forged or extruded from aluminum alloy, 2024-T8. Pump must withstand 10,000 cycles and have an operation temp of -50F to +160, using MIL-H-H-6083 hydraulic fluid. This is a source control item. FOB is Destina tion. Estimated issue date is 27 Nov 2002. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. The proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
