Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Project No. G00-4109 G,S, Fairfax West Bridge, is a proposed grade, drain, bridge, and paving project, approximately 1.674 mile (0.51 km) in length. The project consists of grading, bridge replacement, fencing, drainage, constructing aggregate base, asphalt paving, signing, seeding, erosion control, and striping. Fairfax West Bridge is on County Road EW 31 begins about 3 miles West of Fairfax, Oklahoma, in Osage County. The cost range of construction is between $1,000,000.00 to $2,500,000.00. Request bid documents on or after December 10, 2002. The request should be accompanied with a $50.00 (non-refundable) cashier's check, certified check, or money order made payable to the "Bureau of Indian Affairs", Eastern Oklahoma Regional Office, Branch of Contracts, Room 225, P. O. Box 1008, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, Oklahoma 74402. Cash, Personal, or Company Checks will not be accepted. Bid opening will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2003, 10:00 A.M., Local Time at the place of bid opening, Room 225, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Eastern Oklahoma Regional Office, Muskogee, OK 74402. A Pre-Bid Confernce is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Local time, December 18, 2002, Branch of Contracts, Room 225, 3100 W. Peak Boulevard, Muskogee, Oklahoma. All responsible sources may submit an offer. Section 7(b) of Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) and 41 CFR 14.1.354, requires preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaska Native individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaska Native Economic Enterprises.
