Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex intends to contract for galvanized wire rope, 1-1/2 IN Dia. Nom., 8 x 31, per RR-W-410E. Qty of 14 reels, each containing 900 feet. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 332618 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Delivery of material to be prior to 30 May 2003. Award to be FOB: Destination to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000. Closing date for receipt of offers will be 8:00 A.M, 10 December 2002.
