DIM: 2 inches by ? inches. FUNC: This is the rear axis ?E? gear shaft bearing. The gear shaft is in the gearbox and is driven y another gear shaft which in turn supplies drive for the afterburner fuel pump. It is located in the forward left-hand pad. It is the highest speed gear in the gearbox, 23,921 RPM. APPL: J85 Engine. PREDOMINATE MATERIAL: AMS 6491 steel. TOTAL QTY: 213 EA. DESTN: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: beginning 29 Feb 2004 at rate of 20 EA per month through 31 Dec 2004. Potential 3 year BEQ Contract. Best Estimate Qty at 276 EA for the three years. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The qualification requirements for this item were established prior to 19 Oct 1984 and the requirements of FAR 9.202(A) do not apply. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) 0001. The approximate issue date will be 9 SEP 2002. The approximate response date will be 9 OCT 2002. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: MRC Bearings Inc. Jamestown NY 14702-0280.
