Description
Technical services to provide support to the NUWC Manta Test Vehicle (MTV)?s High Probability of Intercept (HPI) radar. Tasking includes: developing new/modifying existing HPI receiver software to permit integration with the ESM Correlator and Controller (ECAC) being developed; assisting in ECAC integration into the HPI chassis; and assisting in related laboratory and at-sea testing. Period of performance is through 30 SEP 2003. A firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures is planned. Due to the need for maximum commonality with existing Government equipment, this procurement is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (Sensytech, Inc. of Newington, VA, the developer/manufacturer of the HPI receiver). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 29 NOV will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS: 541330 . Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
