Description

The Government announces its requirement to procure for Elevator Inspection Services for a base three year period and two optional three-year periods for General Services Administration, New Jersey Service Center, 970 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey. The contractor shall furnish all necessary inspection and testing for four (4) GSA owned and/or controlled buildings located in New Jersey and Staten Island, New York. The estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000 per year. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The tentative solicitation release date is no earlier than 15 days after posting in FedBizOpps. This solicitation incorporates documents which are not available electronically on the Government Port of Entry (GPE). Interested parties may access the solicitation at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This site provides instructions for downloading the solicitation to the attention of Elaine Whitaker, or Ralph Caiazzo, Contracting Officers at the e-mail or mailing addresses shown in this pre-solicitation notice. Contractors are requested to provide a street address, telephone number, business license or other documentation granted by the state or local jurisdiction to conduct business, valid DUNS number, valid IRS Tax ID number and e-mail address. The Contractors will also be required to sign a Document Security Notice. Once the request for the solicitation has been accepted, one e-mail will be sent to the e-mail provided. The e-mail will provide instructions for entry into the secured Internet site and access to the solicitation. Contractors should request e-mail notification from FedBizOpps in order to remain apprised of solicitation. See Note 27. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE HONORED FOR THIS SOLICITATION.
