Description

The U.S. Geological Survey's National Mapping Discipline has a requirement for photographic reproduction services. The services to be provided include the facilities, labor, materials, and transportation to produce photographic and lithographic items. There is a requirement for a secure vehicle, such as a van or station wagon, to protect and transport the source material between the contractor's facility and the Denver Federal Center. A majority of the photographic and lithographic services involve contact film printing with the original material consisting of positives, negatives, yellow and rust scribe material, peelcoats, and stick-up positives; used to produce positives, negatives, and composites on paper, and clear or matte film material. There is also a requirement to produce color proofs, adhesive back type, and punch register materials and products using the Kemco/Alldis registration system. The Kemco/Alldis registration system will be provided as government furnished property. The period of performance for the base period is anticipated to be February 1, 2003 through January 31, 2004 with four (4) one year option periods. The issue date for the solicitation will be on or about 11/20/2002. The solicitation can be found at the following web address: http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No hard copies of the solicitation will be available. Telephone and e-mail requests for the solicitation will not be accepted. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 323122, with a size standard of 500 employees. All responsible small business concerns may submit a proposal. See Note 1.
