INFORMATION ONLY UPDATE.....Previoulsy a site visit and pre-proposal conference was held and Q&A have been posted regarding the upcoming issuance of the two step IFB which shall be a 100% set aside for small businesses (see numbered note 1). The NAICS code is 541219 and the associated small business size standard is $7.0 million. Due to a delay in the appointmen of the Independent Review Officer for the Bureau which is necessary in order to review and certify the PWS and agency's MP, the expected date is estimated to be sometime in January to February timeframe for actual release of the solicitation document. Please do not call or email until that time frame is reached. Until an IRO reviews and approves the SOW it shall remain in draft form. However, the updated version of the draft with changes made shall be posted in FEDBIZOPPS by 19 November 2002 for further review and analysis by those prospective vendors wishing to know its possible make up. Realize that until the IRO process is complete, changes may, and most likely will be made to the final solicitation due out sometime in January-February timeframe. Again, this is going to be a Two-Step Sealed Bid (IFB) solicitation for the function of Accounts Payable, under OMB A-76 Streamlined procedures.
