Description

The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intends to enter into a Sole Source contract with The Bureau of National Affairs, Inc. (BNA), to renew and maintain PBGC's license subscription. Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and utilizing the Simplied Acquisition method described in FAR 13.106. PBGC relies upon BNA publications for current news stories and court developments. Typically pension or bankruptcy cases as well as related issues are reported in these publications earlier than in other news sources. The Period of Performance is for one year. This is a notice to award a sole source contract and is NOT a request for proposals. See Numbered Note 22.
