Description
This requirement is in support of the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejuene, North Carolina. The proposed contract will provide whole house renovation of 30 buildings containing 60 housing units located in Watkins Village. The work includes demolition and new replacement of all doors and windows; flooring; wall and ceiling finishes; base, wall and bath cabinets; plumbing fixtures; electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures; HVAC ductwork and incidental related work. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, transportation, and incidental related work necessary to perform the work to be described in the specifications. The solicitation is unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 236210 with a Size Standard of $28.5 Million. Estimated cost range is $5 Million to $10 Million. A subcontracting plan is required if the contract is awarded to a Large Business. The Best Value Source Selection process will be used to ensure selection of the source evidencing the best overall capability to perform the work in a manner most advantageous to the Government, as determined by evaluation of proposals in accordance with the established criteria. Offerors will be encouraged to demonstrate adequate experience, past performance, and technical ability to establish that their proposal will provide maximum benefit to the Government. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals prior to award; to negotiate with any or all offerors; to award the contract to other than the lowest total price; and to award to the offeror submitting the proposal determined by the government to be the most advantageous to the Government. PROPOSERS ARE ADVISED AN AWARD MAY BE MADE WITHOUT DISCUSSION OR ANY CONTACT CONCERNING THE PROPOSALS RECEIVED. Offerors should not assume they will be contacted, or afforded the opportunity, to qualify, discuss, or revise their proposals. Plans and specs will be available on or ABOUT 03 December 2002.
