- Description
- The DoDEA European Procurement Office is seeking potential sources to compete for a requirement to provide all services, supervision, management, personnel, labor, materials, transportation, general and specialized equipment (except as specified as Government-furnished) in performing maintenance, repair, and minor alteration of real property for 26 separate school facilities located throughout Germany to include the Heidelberg District Superintendent's Office facility, all of which are operated under the purview of DoDDS-Europe Heidelberg District authority. A single contract award is intended although multiple awards may be made as deemed appropriate by the Government. The formal solicitation is anticipated for release on or about 28 Feb 02 and will contain a base year, 4 one-year option periods, and award term coverage equating to 5 additional years of extended performance (Total Contract Duration: 10 Years). Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation 10.002(b)(2)(viii), DEPO will conduct market research in the form of an "Industry Day Conference." The purpose of this conference is to facilitate a productive interchange between U.S. Government and industry experts in determining interest, capability, and viability of acquisition approach in support of the Heidelberg School Maintenance Program. The conference is scheduled for conduct on 18 Dec 02, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, at Rhein Main AFB/Gateway Gardens, in the Heidelberg Professional Development Building #610. Both U.S. and foreign-based firms are encouraged to attend as the proposed procurement, which will contain award term incentive, offers the contract winner(s) an opportunity to realize significant returns on capital investment.
