Description

The Food and Drug Administration is extending the due date for quotes to Monday, November 25 by close of business. The following statements are to be included in the description of the requirement. The FDA currently is insured by Traveles of Phoenix, AR. The main reason for insurance coverage would be to cover 550 FDA investigators during international business travel to countries that include all of Europe, Asia, Canada and South America. Most trips are for two to four weeks. The primary means of travel is commercial airplane to get to the destination, once at destination, trains and cars are used. No truck drivers, chauffeurs, deliverymen or commercial drivers are covered. Limits for coverage are Emergency Evacuation - $150,000 CLS to include medically necessary repatriation, repatriation of remains, medical escort. Visit of family member or friend - $1,000. Return of recreational vehicle/auto - $1,000 and accidental death and dismemberment - $1,000 with no deductibles. At this time, no further questions will be accepted.
