Description

NA The work consists of replacing the existing 5 kV, 2 conductor power feeder cables from the Main Power House to the Administration Building and the Davis Building. The cables will be upgraded in size from #3'0 AWG to #350 Kcmil. Replace 15 KV, 3 conductor P ower Feeders No. 3 and No.4 sections from the Main Powerhouse to the North Footbridge manhole. The existing 500 kcmil, paper-insulated lead-covered, low pressure gas-filled cable sections will be replaced with 500 kcmil shielded, polyethylene-jacketed cabl e that will contain the gas tubes to supply gas to the remaining sections. This project is unrestricted. The estimated range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The NAICS is 238210. The solicitation will be available at www.Lre.usace.army.mil on or abo ut 16 January 2002.
