Description
This announcement issues the subject draft RFO/SIR for industry comment as described at the TFM-M Industry Day on October 22, 2002. This draft RFO/SIR consists of all Sections attached to this announcement. Comments/questions regarding this draft RFO/SIR may be made through the TFM-M web page at www.faa.gov/tfmmodernization. The deadline for any such comments or questions is by close of business on December 13, 2002. It is noted that the issuance of this draft RFO/SIR is for informational/planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. Additionally, the issuance of this draft RFO/SIR does not commit the government to pay any costs incurred in the submission of comments/questions by companies. Companies submitting comments/questions on the TFM-M web page must first be a registered vendor as per the web page instructions. Currently, all of the attendees from Industry Day have been registered - it is noted that the Government has streamlined the list for ease of administration. If it is necessary to make changes to the vendor list, please send an email to the Contracting Officer with the noted changes. Questions/comments will appear on the web page after they are posted without any identification of the company name. The Contracting Officer may contact a company directly for clarification of a comment or question as necessary. Every effort shall be made to post responses to each question/comment in a timely manner. Responses will appear on the web page below each question or comment. The Government reserves the right to defer a response to a particular question or comment, or to decline answering a question or comment under exceptional circumstances. Questions about this process shall be directed to the Contracting Officer at the number indicated below.
