NA This amendment to a previously advertised Combination Synopsis/Solicitation is issued to answer questions received in response to this solicitation and to extend the closing date to Monday, November 25, 2002 at 3:00p.m. MST. QUESTION 1: Could you please tell me if the Fiber Pigtails have what type of connector on each end? 1-SC/ST or 2-SC/SC or 3-ST/ST? ANSWER 1: The connector is an SC/UPC connector only on one end of the cable. Cables from another vendor would be acceptable if it meets the specifications. QUESTION 2: What length of break out is required? Standard breakout length is 24 inch. Does the customer want the 900-micron, Tight Buffered Corning SMF-28 Glass build up to a 3mm jacket on the breakout area? ANSWER 2: Standard breakout of 24 inch is OK and yes, we want 900 micron, SMF-28 to 3mm. NOTE: The point of contact for this acquisition will remain Laura St. John, Contract Negotiator
