Description

NA DESC: 1005-01-440-8010, Part Number 11826230. The item to procure is a Trigger Assembly. Requirements are 225 each, Trigger Assembly, for use on the M240 Machine Gun. FOB is destination. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Estimated issue date is 6 December 2002. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY03 requirement. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors, who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal, are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to mcgregors@ria.army.mil to receive a non-disclosure and non-use agreement that must be completed before the TDP will be sent. Any said requests should contain the following infor mation; CAGE Code, Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet and the non-disclosure and non-use agreem ent has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Canada. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the is sue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligatio n and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendmen ts and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
