- This acquisition is for the purchase 10 ea Coldworking Kits which are needed for repair of the F15 vertical stabilizers. The kits contain approx 27 different types of tooling, plus cases. The manufacturer of the tooling contained in the kits is West Coast Industries. A list of the contents may be obtained by contacting Becky Cochran at 478-926-4730 or email becky.Cochran@robins.af.mil. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See Note 22. The following clauses are applicable to subject solicitation: FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors), 52.212-2 (Evaluation-Commercial Items), 52.212-3 (Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items), 52.212-4 (Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items), and 52-212-5 (Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items). In accordance with Clause 52.212-2, the evaluation factors shall be: price and price related factors. Oral procedures will be used for this solicitation. Quotations should be submitted by 3 Dec 02. Quotations may be faxed to 478-926-3569 or emailed to becky.cochran@robins.af.mil. The anticipated award date will be by 6 Dec 02.
