- INDEFINITE DELIVERY CONTRACT (OPEN-END) MULTI-DISCIPLINE ENGINEERING CONTRACT SERVICES - Provide professional services necessary for various Health Care Planner Services at the eight (8) VA Medical Centers in VISN 12, which are: Chicago Healthcare System (Lakeside & West Side Divisions), Chicago, Illinois; Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Hines, Illinois; VA Medical Center, North Chicago, Illinois; Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; William S. Middleton VA Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin; VA Medical Center, Tomah, Wisconsin; and VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, Michigan. Services include site investigations, analysis, cost estimates, preparation of working drawings and specifications, and construction period services. Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 250 mile driving radius of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. VA intends to award a contract for a period of one (1) year, with two (2) additional option periods of one (1) year each. Total fees paid under the resultant contract shall not exceed $450,000, including the option years. Individual task orders will be limited to between $50,000 and $100,000. The Government is uncertain as to the number of task orders that will be placed against the contract during the term of the contract. Award of individual task orders is contingent upon project funding. Selection criteria will be based on: (1) Past performance on similar projects, maintaining project schedules and project budgets; (2) Overall engineering Health Care Planner experience and capability; (3) Qualifications of staff to be assigned, with special emphasis on field personnel to be assigned; and (4) Cost control effectiveness. A/E firms which meet the requirements listed in this announcement are invited to submit two (2) copies of the completed Standard Forms (SF) 254 and 255 by December 23, 2002. NAICS code 541330 applies. No bid packages are available. This is not a Request For Proposal (RFP).
