Description

Technical support services to analyze previously obtained, at-sea test data of the Integrated Undersea Warfare (IUSW-21) Advanced Development Model (ADM), and assist Government personnel in operating the system. A definitive contract is anticipated, with a period of performance through SEP 2003. Due to the current lack of documentation on this system, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (Lockheed Martin of Syracuse, NY, the developer/manufacturer of the wet-end part of the ADM processing system that records and processes the acoustic information necessary for data analysis). Any interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 05 DEC 2002 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS: 541710.
