Description
This requirement is for the repair/overhaul of Convergent Nozzle Segment Assemblies (Output NSN 2840-01-313-1813NZ, P/N 4077809) applicable to the F100PW100/200/220/220E engines. The government contemplates awarding a firm fixed price requirements type contract for a one (1) year basic contract with two one (1) year option periods. The estimated quantity per year to be repaired is 6,855 each per year for a total three year estimated quantity of 20,565 each, which equates to a total three year estimated value of $4,894,470.00. The government?s required delivery schedule is 540 each per month to be delivered within 30 days after receipt of order and reparable assets, whichever is later, and continue at that rate until deliveries are completed. Note, this procurement includes both Air Force and FMS requirements. Items will be delivered to Tinker AFB. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR 52.209-1. The government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SAR?s). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SAR?s as soon as possible. If the government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible source approval for future awards. Reference AFMCFARS 5309.206-1(e)(1), the following notes apply to this procurement. Note A: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Note D: The requirements of FAR 9.202(a) have been completed and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. The currently approved sources are Pratt & Whitney San Antonio, San Antonio TX 78238; AAR Engine Component Services Inc., Frankfort NY 13340; and Dynamic Gunver Technologies, Manchester CT 06040. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This solicitation will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. This solicitation will be posted via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://epsa.satx.disa.mil. Notes 23 and 26 apply.
