Description

SALE OF NATIONWIDE FLOW OF DRMS SCRAP MATERIAL DRMS is planning to sell future generations of scrap material through a new multi-year proceeds-sharing sale. This contract will provide exclusive access to surplus material generated at Department of Defense (DoD) Installations throughout the Continental United States and Alaska. An industry meeting is being held to provide potential bidders with information about the transaction and the opportunity to ask questions. We anticipate that the ?Scrap Venture? package will be available on the DRMS World Wide Web Site at http://www.drms.dla.mil/newsales/html/scrap_venture.html on or about November 8, 2002. If you are unable to access the DRMS Web site but are interested in receiving a package, please request a copy by faxing a copy of the front of this postcard to (269) 961-4162 or by mail to: Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service Scrap Business Unit (DRMS-BP) 74 N. Washington Avenue Battle Creek, MI 49017-1280 The hotel has set aside a limited number of rooms at a special rate of $85.00 (plus tax) on December 9, 2002 for meeting attendees. To obtain this special rate you must make reservations by November 25, 2002 and identify yourself as a ?DRMS Scrap? meeting attendee.
