Description
PR No: LTC02288002550; This solicitation will contain 1 NSN (1560-00-404-0011) for a Trailing Edge, ACFT Wedge Assy. for an C-5 aircraft and is solicited as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, Full and Open Competition after exclusion of sources. The manufacturer is Lockheed Martin Corp. (Cage 98897) and approved sources are Winding Specialist (Cage 30150), Honeycomb of America (Cage 99115), HAC Corp. (Cage 1N454 as per ECP 97001), Tightco Elliott Div. (4R582). Middle River ACFT Sys (Cage 1B6R3). and CPI Aerostructures Inc. (Cage 9U679). This solicitation will be solicited for award of an indefinite quantity contract. The award will be for a base year, four option years, and a Government First Article Test of 1 unit. The Annual Estimated Quantity (AEQ) is 8 for the base year and 8 for any option years. The required delivery of the FAT is 180 days ARO and shall be quoted FOB destination (Robins AFB, GA ). The required delivery for the base year is 340 days after FAT approval and shall be quoted FOB origin, inspection/acceptance origin. Specifications, Plans or Drawings related to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is December 9, 2002, anticipated award date is February 25, 2003. Reference notes 1, 23 and 26.
